I believe everyone can benefit from therapy while navigating stressors, transitions, and everyday worries. You deserve to invest in your emotional well-being and therapy is a good place to start! My treatment approach is strengths based, incorporating CBT and mindfulness. Life is not always easy. We all have our own individual journeys and none of us are exempt from the struggles of being human. Whether you are in a difficult situation, or suffering from negative thoughts, or stuck in a pattern of damaging behavior you do not have to go through it alone. My goal through our therapeutic relationship would be to provide a safe space for you to share your story while finding the insight and skills to help you navigate whatever it is you are going through.

Since 2017 I have worked in various settings with adults suffering with depression, anxiety, substance use, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. I also have experience working with adolescence and youth with social anxieties, ADHD, and autism. I cannot wait to work with you in finding the tools to help you foster sustainable growth and change.

Tim C

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Sometimes it can be hard to talk about what you’re thinking or feeling. You might believe that if you did, people may judge or not care. You might even have a hard time pinpointing what exactly your thoughts or feelings are in the first place. It is my mission to make you feel heard and validated in the hopes that when you do, you just might find those difficult thoughts and feelings easier to manage.

My treatment approach is person-centered, to empower you to understand that your experience of yourself and the world around you matters, and psychodynamic, to explore how you came to be who you are today, while also drawing from CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, strengths-based, and other approaches to collaborate with you to figure out how you can live the life you want to live. Throughout my years of experience in counseling, it has been an honor to join my clients on their respective journeys to becoming the best version of themselves. Allow me to join you on yours, and together we can work towards a better you that lives a more fulfilled, empowered, and happy life.

Ashley C

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Are you feeling down, unmotivated, and not sure why? Does the simple fact that you feel this way make it hard to find the energy to cope with what you’re feeling? That kind of uncertainty might be spreading to the people you care about, so they may not understand what you need from them. I can help you to learn the skills to understand and cope with your emotions in a safe way, and to express them clearly enough that the people around you can truly hear you and understand how to support you. Together, we can build on the strengths that you already have to help you take back control of your emotions and your relationships.

My approach is an integrative, DBT-informed individual therapy that focuses on identifying and learning the skills that best fit your unique needs. We can work together on DBT skills including distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and mindfulness. This will give us a clearer idea of what brings out the strongest emotions in you, and how to sit with and express those feelings in a way that keeps you connected to safety and peace. I believe anyone can learn to notice their feelings without judging, and sit with those feelings long enough to safely figure out a solution or a way to cope. I hope to have the opportunity to help you feel heard and understood, and thereby become empowered to make the choices that help you build a satisfying life.

Therapy can be a very transformative experience when approached with curiosity and compassion. The work involves looking at parts of life with gentleness and honesty, while also building and fine tuning skills to help navigate through those realities.

In my work, I mostly maintain a humanistic approach when working with clients, and will use techniques derived from various modalities such as CBT and others when beneficial for the treatment process. I am a big advocate for mindfulness and creative outlets that promote expression and self-discovery and will encourage them in my work when appropriate. I have worked with children, teens and young adults (particularly the college age population) helping them navigate life transitions, developing coping skills and increase knowledge of anxiety, depression, grief and other life challenges. I truly believe that curiosity can be significant catalyst for change and a safe space is a great place to begin.

My passion has always been to help others, in any way possible. By assisting individuals in improving self awareness we can learn to identify circumstances that hinder us from meeting our goals and living our full life potential. I strongly believe we can strive for the best with the assistance and support of those around us. I am here to provide that support for those that are having difficulties pushing through challenges that we face in life. With a person-centered approach along with cognitive behavioral therapy I work to help clients identify their beliefs that may be effecting how they cope with life stressors. Furthermore, I work to help individuals recognize patterns that act as barriers in their life. Most importantly, I am here to help clients find healthy coping skills that will allow them to create positive changes and grow as an individual.
